When bringing in a new wife to an already existing home, it remains vital that the wife or wives that already lived in the home make room for the new wife. Why is this important? Usually, a new wife will not come into what they consider to be another wife's home and just start changing things because the may feel it is not their place. Further, a new wife will also feel unsure about what is allowed to be moved and what is not.
Here are some tips:
-communicate with the new wife what things she will be moving in.
-does she have furniture, kitchen appliances, utencils, plates, cups, silverware, pictures, wall decor, etc.
-Take an inventory of anything where dupicates wil exist.
-Decide together where everything will be placed or which things will go in storage.
-duplicates can be used when one of the other one breaks.
-Make wall space for her to hang her pics and wall decor.
-Make sure she has a place to put her clothes, toiletries, ect.
-If she has children, they need a place for their clothes, toys, etc.
Do not just expect the new wife to come in and move things around to make room for her things. She needs to know that you have room for her, so make the room.
Let's make sure we realize this is the new wife's home too, and we need to make sure she feels at home. Otherwise, she will leave eventually.
